In recent years,with the rapid economic growth in our country and the rapid development of information technology,the demand for intelligence and informationization of household electrical equipment is on the rise.Smart home has a huge development prospects,making the major research institutes and manufacturers have influx.However,at present,China's smart home is still in initial stage of development.There is no unified standard for home networking communications.All major manufacturers have launched their own products one after another,resulting in poor compatibility between systems and a general chaotic market.And from the home network communication point of view,whether it is using the traditional wired way,or wireless,there are some shortcomings.Therefore,in order to solve these problems,this paper designs a set of smart home platform based on power line carrier technology,which can avoid the shortcomings of the traditional wired mode requiring rewiring and the weak radio signal through the wall in wireless mode,then provides a solution to quickly build a smart home system.Smart home platform consists of gateways,nodes and smart phones APP.Gateway as the core of the platform is the focus of this article.Gateway consists of power line modem equipment and embedded core board,with the ability of power line communication,the internal organization and management of power line network,the external can be connected to the home Internet network to interact with the user's smart phone APP.Power line modem equipment to achieve power line communications,in order to meet the needs of different occasions,respectively,based on low-voltage power line carrier chip MI200E and INT6400/1400 designed narrowband and broadband modem solution.In addition to designing and manufacturing equipment hardware,this article focuses on the power line communication protocol.Combined with the narrow-band carrier chip MI200E,a competing power line MAC protocol is designed,and the broadband solution is ported to the mature HomePlug?AV protocol.Then,based on the smart home platform,this article builds a set of home lamp control system,users can easily and quickly through the smart phone APP to control the home electric light node.Finally,the rigorous performance tests show that the narrowband/wideband modem equipment designed in this paper possesses good power line communication ability.The smart home gateway can realize the interaction between the power line network and the external Internet.Based on the platform proposed in this paper,users can quickly develop smart home system.
