With the development of science and technology, the oscilloscopes,as common instruments, have made great progress. With the digital technology, the oscilloscopes have become a kind of intelligent instrument with functions: waveform display,para- meter measure, detecting, analyze, storage, and so on. The Digital Storage oscilloscope(DSO) will replace Analog oscilloscope. At present, domestic DSO product'type, which has our own independent property right,is too few. The DSO is hindered to apply widely in our production and test by high price. On the basis of the analysis of DSO's fundamental principle, the design and implementation of a kind of digital storage oscilloscope system was discussed in detailed in the dissertation.Data acquiring system is the key of the design of digital storage oscilloscope. First in this paper the structure of data acquisition system is introduced. Next, every function module is designed and analyzed. The system discussed in the dissertation has the architecture built with DSP and FPGA, we will design and develop a data acquisition system based on this structure, which sampling frequency is 1 GSPS, bandwidth is 200 MHz. The structure's most important feature is flexible structure and general usage. It enable designer to develop product within shorter time, and the system can be expanded easily. The TMS320VC5416 of TI company, controls the whole system, and at the same time it functions data processing. The EP2S15 of ALTERA company, work as the system's peripheral controller include FIFO(first in first out) memory and sampling clock controller. By using LCD,it provides the friendly interface for user's convenient operation, and make the system miniaturization. Finally, the test results are given in the dissertation. Some problems and answers in the system design are discussed.
