Automated Storage & Retrieval System (AS/RS), as a new storage way appearing in modern logistics technology area, is playing more important roles in the industrial production. The optimized dispatch of AS/RS is the key of high work efficiency of the warehouse. So it is the key point of current researches on the project optimization realm. Based on former researches, goals and significances of this topic were analyzed. The optimization of AS/RS dispatch was lucubrated. The vital work of this dissertation included:Compositive elements and key technologies of AS/RS were introduced. The process of In-Out warehouse was explained. The operation configuration of AS/RS, which includes management level, monitoring level and execution level, was explicated. Also, functions of each part were clarified.Some related principles of AS/RS dispatch were presented. Dispatch algorithm model of the stacker based on time was built and revised. Then, process of operations management based on priority was designed. And processes of single and compound operations were analyzed. Measures of Storage Location Management on enhancing operation efficiency were determined.Based on characteristics of slotting optimization (SO), a gridding structure model of SO was established, which realized the reasonable combination of optimization among stabilization of operations, frequency of In-Out warehouse and time of operations. Also, genetic algorithm was used to realize the optimization of multi-objects. In the design of the algorithm, F —measure was advanced to choose beginning population, and matrix codes and intersection method of different goals were first adopted. Artificial amendment was developed to solve problems of SO optimization. It broke through traditional characteristic, which only optimizes single target. By simulation, through comparing with the traditional method, the model could enhance operating efficiency, comparing with traditional methods.
