In this paper , the present situation about the milling machine has been analyzed, and its development trend and the leading edge technology, the necessity and feasibility about the exploitation of the milling machine hydraulic system's sate monitoring and fault diagnosis system has also been given. According to the milling machine hydraulic system's basic principle, working feature and working environment, the system schema has been worked out. With the analysis of the hydraulic system common fault features by fuzzy logical fault diagnosis theory, the parameter of the system has been determined, and the practical method has been provided.The system is designed by means of block, divided into display module, real-time monitoring module and fault diagnosis module, and the implementation method and key parameter are also given. The system uses a 32-bit ARM CPU as hard core. From it UART,LCD,A/D and I/O ports has been extended, And the uC/OS-II real-time operation system is used as system software. In the environment of ARM Project Manager software integrated programming environment, the programme about the CPU and LCD has been written to realize the function of the above module in the simulate development board. At last the system's realizability, categoricalness, reliability, stability and real-time nature has been tested by several debugging and testing procedures which confirmed the feasibility of this system, and made further improvements programmes and measures.
