The Research, Based On Profibus-dp Automotive Plastic Trim Paint Shop Automation Solutions

With the development of computer science, micro-chips, network technology and industrial automation, and with the ever-demanding need of the combination between ERP, MES and plant networks, Field Bus technology plus SCADA gains blossom in industrial automation application. This article focuses on the implementation of a total automation solution including PROFEBUS-DP on Device layer , SCADA on supervising and management layer and combination between industrial automation with IT.Chapterl presents the background and goals of this article and summarizes the development of the development of industrial communicating network in late years.Chapter2 details the layout of equipments of the paint shop and the arts of painting for plastic parts for automobiles, then brings out the requirements of the automation solution.Chapter3 introduces the hardware selection and the logic design according to the requirements of the system.Chapter4 gives an introduction to Industry Control Network, makes performance analysis to PROFIBUS-DP;besides, it introduces a reasonable and good solution of communication among several PROFIBUS-DP networks.Chapter5 presents how to construct a SCADA system in the paint shop for plastic parts, where OPC and SQL technologies are introduced to implement supervising, controlling, data sharing and exchanging. Some software are also mentioned here which are used to fulfill SCADA in paint shop. Meanwhile, it gives a way of combination between automation networks and IT network.The last chapter is a brief summary of the whole article.
