The paper focused on designing and implementing the Management Information System (MIS) for a company. The study aimed to manage the information of aircraft maintenance with computer technology, implement information share and communication, assist somebody make correct decisions.First, we investigated and analyzed the curricula of aircraft maintenance in the company, knew the weakness of the current management, put forward to develop Aircraft Maintenance Management Information System based on B/S mode. Second, we described how to model with the 0-0 (object-oriented) thinking and Unified Modeling Language (UML), In particular, the system use cases were described, dynamic model and static model were analyzed and compared, the consistency of system models and the requirements were validated. Third, we chose Java as the programming language and Oracle as database server, implemented the Aircraft maintenance Management Information System. Database design, MVC mode and the technology of database connective pool were described and discussed. At last, we summarized mechanism and technology applied in this MIS. Identification and certification , access control, encryption techniques, database backing up and restoring, operation log were described briefly. After implementing of MIS, the work efficiency is improved obviously. This company is more competitive and energetic. Meanwhile, the experience will be directly applied to higher level of information process in this company, and it will be a good reference for other companies of aircraft maintenance.
