Research And Practice Of Architectural Features And Characteristics Of Dujiangyan City

This article starts with the culture and history materials and local magazines of Dujiangyan city. It investigates Dujiangyan city in detail and reveals the historical sequence that the city has the source because of water and then from beginning to standing, from settling to prosperity and from prosperity to magnificent sight .On one hand, the reason that the form of historical architecture style and features of Dujiangyan city is analyzed in this thesis through lots of building substance, which lays emphasis on analyzing the active reason that is brought by economy and culture from investigating the development of times and historical relics. On the other hand, it makes an exhaustive study on the form and evolving process about city image, building style and features and cultural spirits. Under the modern large-scaled construction of Dujiangyan city, the building style and features is relatively confused and lack of organization. Moreover, city historical traditional sequence of ideas has some weak, scattered causes and processes in the field of city building feature. Applying the theory of urban design, it sets forth the construction of landscape alignment completely about Dujiangyan city's overall styles and features and building feature system. What's more, it answers the question that what features Dujiangyan city has already owned and what style and features Dujiangyan city will have in the future. The construction of city is a consecutive, gradual, developing process, with the accumulation of time and quantity, the construction of style and feature of Dujiangyan city would develop step by step. So we should consider "people-oriented" as the core of city construction of style and feature. Besides, we should regard training the intention of requirement and guiding the requirement of humanity as a long-term aim.
