Product Variant Design Based On The Assembly Model And Applications

Assembly modeling is a product modeling that support the whole process from the concept design to part design, and it can pass the design parameter, the assembly arrangement and the assembly information from different assembly part. One side, Assembly modeling of product integrates the single part and assembly sculpts, on the other side, it can integrate assembly connection and arrangement connection. It is the important problem that the rapid variant design is handled on the basis of assembly modeling for adapting the requirement of market. For implementing the rapid sculpt, the product full modeling must be set up to one type of product at first, and then the modeling is exampled on the basis of the requirement of consumer.The methods on the basis of the assembly modeling and the development from the country and the abroad were introduced in the paper through reading lots of literatures. Analyzed the modeling of assembly connection and the correlation theory, modeling t echnology o n t he b asis o f TBS a ssembly m odeling w as r esearched. T he impression of assembly information of product on TBS modeling was analyzed in detail. On the basis of the existent modeling, the concept of adaptive information was come out and the impression of adaptive information on the TBS modeling was analyzed.In the paper, the new ideology that the TBS modeling change the configuration and aesthetics principle direction the shape change was put forward. In the direction of the ideology, the frame facing the requirement was established. The frame is based on the TBS modeling characteristic parameter; integrated the idea that build the modeling from top to bottom and the module idea in the part process; focus on the assembly modeling; made use of the characteristic 3D modeling software. The variant design in the deferent arrangement including assembly modeling and part was established. In the frame, the product modeling was impressed using the requirement modeling, the concept modeling and the assembly modeling. The CBR method and the module method were integrated in the frame. The principle including the industryaesthetics is put into the whole principle, and so the appearance design of product and the interior configuration design were integrated in whole process of design. The rapid variant design, the series design and the optimize design can processes according to the frame.At last, it was proved that the frame could make product realize the product rapid modeling and variant design according to the design of communicationproduct-----mobile phone. The frame can improve the efficiency and greatly cut theperiods in the process of development of new product.
