Research On Adaptive Assembly Modeling And Variant Design Based On Meta-model

In order to satisfy the individual requirement of clients, shorten the product design cycle efficiently and enhance market's completion for corporations, theories and methods of assembly model and meta-model are analyzed. The idea of meta-model-based adaptable assembly modeling is put forward. For micro-motor product, the properties and their expression are analyzed. Framework and modeling techniques of micro-motor meta-model are established. The method of adaptable assembly modeling based on micro-motor meta-model is researched, which uses mate-relationship to form a closed loop assembly chain. An adaptable assembly modeling and variant design system is developed according to the above researches. Finally, the modeling and variant design of NJXBL micro-motor series using this system is demonstrated.
