The measurement for the artillery body inside chamber is the important part of the artillery measurement. It is so necessary that the measurement is needed from the produce of the artillery to the use of the artillery, even if it is at save period. A bad artillery will threaten the soldier's lives directly. On traditions, the measurement for the artillery body inside chamber relays on the expert workers in the factories. Of course, it is un-efficient and incorrect sometime. So we hope that we can develop a system for the measurement for the artillery body inside chamber base on the demand. We also hope that the system can improve the efficiency and the precision.This paper describes the principle of the system and the details of implement. It's contents contains:Firstly, there are many techniques, we'll compare them with each other. We will introduce the whole measurement system we'll use.After that, We describe the implement of the mechanical structure and optical structure, such as the analyze for force and the velocity ratio.Then we will show the control part of the system. And give a method to control the stepper motor; we also will discuss the design of the circuit.We will describe the way of obtaining the digital image and describe the DirectShow for implement, and also show the technology of digital image processing.At the end of the paper, We will prospect the future of the technology and analyze the possible research hot point and the research development.Until now, we finished the jobs listed above, and we made the system work. The jobs we have done conduce to the next step we will do.
