As the frequency of the high speed of the car meeting more and more high in the night, the head lamp of car which sight doesn't well, is one of the most important hidden troubles which affects the car running safely in the night. The advanced test instruments all used the technique of the computer assist test in abroad, but the test way is draggled in domestic factories.It is important that we could develop a test instrument of high performance_to_price,which can test the light of the car exactly and quickly,make sure the production quality of the car light.In this dissertation, firstly, the test way of the light was discussed, some kinds of characteristics and the ranges were compared. At last, the test system of head lamp of the car is designed using by digital image processing, it can measure the characteristic parameters such as luminous intensity, center of far light, corner of the close light .At the same time, the whole design of the test instrument of head lamp car of and the concrete design were brougbt forward, which including the way of the develop software and the accomplishment of digital image processing. Based on the design, the test software was developed by Visual C++ , and the testing data was analyzed.It is a high speed test system which is based on the image collection, manipulation, and demonstration. The theory and way of the range of light and electricity that not touched have been become rich through this system.And the need of the national test head lamp of car can be satisfied through this system.The design of the test system not only contributes to improve the test quality of the domestic car light and enhances the ability of competition of corporations, but also helps people reduce the traffic accidents and the loss of wealth and lives.
