This thesis involves an important part of the research of "The clustered intelligentized engineering machinery", which is taken on by Xuzhou Engineering Group, Southeast University, Tsinghua University and Chongqing College of Traffic etc. as a project of National 863 Project, for the base of the clustering of intelligentized engineering machinery is the stable communication and the well sharing of the information among the mobile engineering machines and the control center.First coming is the introduction of the concept and the researching actuality of the clustered intelligentized engineering machinery. After the discussion of the environment of the construction, the speciality of engineering machinery and the request analysis of the communication in the cluster, the thesis puts forward the whole design and implementation of the communication platform connecting the whole cluster, in which the key is the establishment of the transparent communication among the CAN (Control Area Network) of controllers in the individuals and wireless network on WLAN/GSM. But there is no mature products to resolve this difficulty, so comes the mobile bridge between CAN and WLAN/GSM.The thesis addresses the full technology and implementation in the research and development of the mobile CAN/WLAN/GSM bridge. A prototype based on computer for industrial control is worked out to validate the design. The prototype is equipped in a construction vehicle in an experiment, resulting in the feasibility the design of the communication platform and the CAN/WLAN/GSM bridge. The thesis covers the implementation, the software structure and the result of the experiment of the sample.The prototype based on computer for industrial control validates the feasibility of the design in the company of some problem causing by the atrocious environment of the bridge. The design based on embedded systems must be implemented in reason. The thesis also covers the design and implement of the CAN/WLAN/GSM bridge base on Linux and embedded systems. It elaborates the design and implementation of the software such as the customization of Linux, the development of the driver for character device and the design of the bridge program.The end is the suggestion of the design based on the embedded systems, which comes from the prospect of embedded systems.
