With the development of power system, unique unit installed capacity of the main units in the power network is 300MW or 600MW. In these great capacity units, the ratio of 100kw and even greater motor is higher and higher. During the normal running of units, once some important motor stops, the load will be thrown off, even the unit and the boiler will be stopped. After the motor dropped, as soon as possible to find out the reason of fault is the fault of motor itself of the switch switches slinkingly or other reason is the key reason to decide whether the motor could be put into use quickly. Now most of the fault record equipments are developed for the generation and transformer unit or the outlet of the power plant, so it has great sense to develop a kind of distributed installing electric supervised fault recorder equipment for the important motor in the power plant.The main purpose of this dissertation is to develop a kind of new distributed electric supervised fault recorder equipment based on the DSP and MCU parallel processor. Based on the optimal idea in the system project, the scheme of blocking delaminating design is taken. This paper particularly induces the hardware circuit design, the selection of micro processor CPU and the linkage of CAN bus on spot. ON the hardware circuit, the digital signal process chips (TMS320C32) and 80C52 are used, and the double parallel process structure is taken. In the software designing, the emphasis is the flexibility and adaptability of the equipment. This paper provides part test results of the sample equipment. Generally evaluation shows that this kind of electric supervised fault recorder equipment fulfills the need of the market.
