The Research Of The New Type Generator-transformer Unit Fault Recorder

As the most important source equipment in the power system, the accident and the abnormal of the generator groups directly influence the safe operation and power quality of the power system. So it is provided with the value to do research on high reliability and adaptability generator-transformer fault recorder to comprehensive monitor, record and analyze the running state and fault conditions of the generator-transformer unit and its corollary equipment.Considering the actual requirement of the fault recorder, A high performance generator-transformer unit fault recorder that based on digital signal processor (DSP), embedded computer and high speed Ethernet communication technology was designed. This paper introduces the characteristic of the design, hardware structure and software function of this fault recorder in details. It has been using in practicality and bring out better effect.
