Remote Meter Reading System Applied Research

Along with the electrical development of our country, the project push of one resident and one meter, workload of meter reading and charge increase rapidly, so cry for advanced automatic meter reading system in order to improve modern manager lever. This dissertation analyse and design composing part of automatic meter reading system,under the background of automatic meter reading system engineering at Tieshashan residential area,Xuzhou power supply administration.First,this dissertation research data collection system,at present,lots of residential area use electron meter and machine meter,so present the system frame drawing of collection module and collection terminal for electron meter and machine meter. Using AT89C2051 and RS-485,finish the design of collection module and draw the circuit diagram.Second,research and design collection terminal,this base on the different communication mode with collector,so,this dissertation mostly use CAN BUS and PLC(power line communication) to design collection terminal and draw the circuit diagram.Third,research and design the core part of automatic meter reading systemæ¢'ollector,this base on the different communication mode with collection terminal and main station,this dissertation mostly use GSM and public phone line to design collector and draw the circuit diagram.Both collection terminal and collector use AT89C51.All the research and design about the hardware of automatic meter reading system have finished.The above results provide a sound theoretic gist and technical support to bring the automatic meter reading system engineering into effect at Tieshashan residential area,Xuzhou power supply administration.Finally,discuss the function and characteristic of automatic meter reading system which use PLC and public phone line at Tieshashan residential area.If automatic meter reading system use GSM for the future, it will more perfect.
