Feature Model Of Sheet Metal Parts Holographic Mapping Study

In this thesis, a feature modeling method named Holographic Feature Modeling is discussed. It can represent designing and manufacturing process of parts by features mapping. This model is purpose-driven dynamic model that is based on the global information of parts. In this model, Global Part Information is built, designing and manufacturing process of parts is divided into some Application Domains. Features Mapping transfers information in Application Domains. This model provides uniform and self-contained data for designing and manufacturing process of parts, and it is easy to editing. So studying on this model can improve computer-aided technique.According to the feature model proposed by the author, prototype system for integer panel is developed on PC. The software is programmed based on UG17/VC++6.0.
