| CAPP is a major component in CIMS (Computer Integrated Manufacturing System, CMS); it's also an important component of MIE (Manufacturing Information Engineering, MIE). It not only acts as a tie which joins CAD and CAM system, but also keeps close link with other system such as MIS, MRP, ERP, etc. For many years, a lot of effort has been put on the research and development of CAPP system, but the application of CAPP is still limited. In fact, almost all of the CAPP systems are developed as specialized system for specific parts or specific CAD platforms. Many systems put great emphasis on immoderate automation and AI (Artificial Intelligence, AT), it made them not suitable to the use of manufacturing enterprises. Thus, there is an immediate significance in further promoting the theoretical study of CAPP technique and the CAPP application system for manufacturing enterprises.In this dissertation, the current achievements of domestic and worldwide research and existing difficulties of CAPP are summarized. It also summarized the requirements of CAPP system for manufacturing enterprise. It presented the main research contents of this dissertation and expounded the character and mainly functions of TWCAPP system. Based on the principle of practicality, modularization, universality and the human-oriented, absorbed the merit of existing CAPP systems, the system is designed to Client/Server architecture. This system makes the whole product as applied subject and gets supports from process repository and manufacturing resources repository, to compile the process based on the knowledge templates and interactive process design methods. This system can be applied widely in manufacturing enterprise or the different process sectors that combine the process design with information management.In this dissertation, it focused on the research and development of BOM management and process task management related. The following are mainly studied.The study of software architecture for CAPP system, and presented an integrated software architecture for TWCAPP. The study of organization and coding for products structure, and made the formation of products structure tree based on the inputted products information in a proper form.The study of data integration among PPBOM, PDM and EBOM, realized the import and export of BOM data; also presented the method to implement the import and export of BOM data using XML (extensible Markup Language, XML) documents.The study of task distribution and acceptance, realized the personnel management by workgroup and privilege management by Role-Based Access Control, it also studied and realized the track and workflow management of the process compile procedures.At the end of this dissertation, draw a conclusion of this dissertation and make a prospect of the development trend of TWCAPP system. |
