And the magnetic performance of the core, which is the key part of the stator, has a significant effect on the performance of a motor. The core loss is an important criterion of its performance. If the core loss is too large, it will be heated and the efficiency will be decreased when add the exciting current to the stator coils. So we should check the magnetic performance of the core to ensure the quality of the motor during its manufacturing.This paper develops a test system for the magnetic performance of the core based on the test techniques of computer. This test system can maintain the magnetic flux density (5) for sine wave automatically. So we needn't revise the testing data because of the distortion of the waveform. And it also increases the precision of the test. This test system can also adjust the amplitude of the magnetic flux density. So it is easy to use and increases the degree of the test automatization.This test system can apply to two kinds of measurements. One is the automatic measurement of the core loss for the different core of the same type under the same amplitude of the magnetic flux density; the other is the automatic measurement of the alternate magnetization curve and the core loss curve for the core. The experiments prove that it has advantages such as high precision, good stability etc.The paper presents the principle, hardware circuit and software design of the test system for the magnetic performance of the core in detail.
