Reaction brake tester is most popular in vehicle brake performance testing. The motion of the automobile brake tester which can measure the braking force on the wheel is analyzed in this paper. The adhesion co efficiency between the wheel and the roll drum decrease, as the braked wheels climb up on the roll drum. The wheel climbing makes the angle of the wheel touch smaller and the normal pressure larger, bur the braking force smaller than the primary one. The analysis result is verified by the experiments, it is described that working function is influenced by untested wheel adhesion on land, testing wheel adhesion on roller, formed angel, parameter of axle loading ratio, on the basis of theoretical analyses and road tests, dynamic simulation of braking procedure is conducted, using MATLAB.SIMULINK, In the end, the exactness of the computer-based model and simulation method are verified by comparing the simulation results with the road test ones.
