Study On The No.703 Bus Station Of Wu Han And The Urban Space Around The Bus Station

This thesis chooses Wuhan urban bus stations as research objects, and illustrates this topic with No. 703 bus route stops. It attempts to do some effective or creative research in the relationship between the change of urban bus stations and the change of urban space by means of field survey, statistics analysis and comparison study.On the concept of space in geography the urban space is a space region occupied by city, but its connotation is in the urban space region, the distribution and their interactions of all urban elements (including material and non-material), and the dynamic developmental system of them as time goes on. The bus station what we discuss in this research is installation that mainly serve the passengers. All the attribute of the urban space and the bus station are changing all the time and all the changes are reciprocal relationship.This research from the meso view is about the relationship of the changes of the bus station and the surrounding urban space, based on the circumstances basic status of them by using typology method. The significances of the study are to show the development of urban space in a specific period of time and at a specific direction by choosing urban bus stations as research objects.The urban space problems are always complex and they will be in the whole development process of city. Our research may not solve all the problems at one time; we try to attempt to delve the reciprocal impacts between bus stations and urban space by a special view.
