Research On The Urban Spatial Development Of Wuhan Fringe Region

With the acceleration of China's urbanization,urban disease such as high population density,soaring land price and pollution arose in the centre of big cities since eighties of 20th century.The outward migration of both central city's population and enterprises,in contrast with urban concentration,leads to decentralization which implies the start of suburbanization in China's big cities.As the main area where suburbanization takes place,urban fringe region become the key area with both fast development as well as complicated problems.Owing to the fast development of cities themselves,urban fringe region of megalopolises along the east coast have been steadily turned into cities'core developing regions. Wuhan,however,as the inland megalopolis,its urban fringe region areas'development is under volatile changes and hasn't been set into scale. That's where problems emerge and the study of inland metropolitans'urban fringe region development is thus desired.This essay, on the fringe of Wuhan City to start the Spatial Development of theoretical and empirical analysis of the Scientific Concept of Development as its guiding ideology, the ultimate goal of integration of urban and rural areas; from Wuhan City, the development process of marginal areas, the law of development, mechanism and impact of factors such as the study started, made a traffic guide mode of traditional and modern in urban and rural integration model to guide future City Wuhan edge of regional space Morphology Development. To control edge of downtown and the spread of disorder, harmonic development between urban and rural conflicts. Rely on guidance mode transport "TOD" model used to establish patterns of urban and rural integration, to the edge of downtown areas and to coordinate the development of organic and achieve sustainable development in Wuhan.The last part of the essay gives out models and plans for the future design of Wuhan urban fringe region in the effort to propose the politically,socially and environmentally harmonious development of the entire city.
