Therefore,how to improve the urban ecological environment, continue the historical context of city through the landscape planning and designing of the waterfront,creating a new, comfortable and graceful image of the waterfront becomes an urgent issue of the urban construction.As a new developing tourist city, wuyishan's development is just starting, with a small economic quantity,and the whole quality is slow, the level of tourisml structure is aslo relatively low,so that the whole urban function gets weak,and the capacity to transform resource advantage into economic advantage is played unfully.As Chongyang river's abundant waterfront space and superior geography position has become most significant economy and enviroment essential factor of Wuyishan city.The waterfront's overall development and construction has irreplaceable promote function and far-reaching historical meaning for developing and protecting the world cultural and natural heritage, enhancing the general city image,optimizing urban general function,configring resource, promoting urban economical strategic adjustment and driving urban development.This test started from the theory of landscape planning and states the related concept of the waterfront.According to the reference and study to the landscape planning of the waterfront at home and abroad,then pointed out the problems about the planning and designing of waterfront landscape in china at present, and the development tendency about the waterfront's planning.Took the waterfront of Chongyang river in Wuyi Mountain as an example, evaluated and analyed the existing natural and humanistic landscape resources and the social economy condition, put forward the goal of the landscape planning, studied on the obeying idea and oders in landscape planning and developing,and made the whole scheme about the landscape planning,and designed the function division, traffic system,water utilization system, and green space system,historic and cultural protection system in the waterfront development of Chongyang river, then pointed out that the flexible adjustment of the landscape development and planning from policy was needed,so that the planning could adapt to the market changing.
