The Impact Of Urban Spatial Structure Of High-speed Railway Station

The city cann't develop without the support of transportation, in recent years, as the high-speed railway's vigorously growth, cities are developing rapidly. Being the junctions on the high-speed railways, the high-speed railway station have a significant effect on the development of city, especially on the change of the urban spatial structure. From the theories of the development of urban spatial structure and the influence that transportation have over the development of cities, and combined with the situation of the development of cities which located on the high-speed railway stations, this article analyzed and summarized the effect of high-speed railway station on the urban spatial structure of the cities. Then, we use the changes on the urban spatial structure and future developing tendency after the construction of Wuguang high-speed railway station on South Changsha, to analyze and test if the analyses and summarization is reasonable. In the end, focusing on the influence that the high-speed railway stations have on the urban spatial structure of cities, this article gives out the solutions and tragedies. This is for making some good suggestions which in order to improve the development of the cities located on high-speed railway stations.The article is made by 7 chapters. The 1 st chapter is the introduction, mainly introduced the background, meaning, frame, method and creative ideas of the research. The 2nd chapter is the theoretical part, which explained some theories like the overview of urban spatial structure theory and the theory of the effect of transportation on the development of cities. The 3rd chapter introduced the situation of the construction of high-speed railway in foreign countries, and the development of cities after the construction of the high-speed railway stations. The 4th chapter is the summarization of the theories and practices, which analyzed the influence of the high-speed railway stations on the urban spatial structure of cities mainly in 3 ways- the urban size, the urban spatial layout and the urban morphology. The 5th chapter examines the proofs in 4th chapter, using the example of the future development and urban spatial structure of Changsha after the Changsha south high-speed railway station of Wuguang high-speed railway been built. The 6th chapter gives out some solutions and developing strategies on the issue of the good and bad influences that the high-speed railway station have on the development of urban spatial structure. The 7th chapter is the summarization of the whole article, and gives out some problems need to be solved in the next research stage.
