Influence Research Of High Speed Rail Station On Regional And Urban Spatial Development

With the staff and productive factors exchanging and flowing fast,China has entered a development stage that the comprehensive transportation network system is widely promoted.In this background,the High-speed Rail System will be the most significant part because of its convenience and efficiency.However,after its booming without carefully consideration of location,establishment and development pattern,the conflicts between urban space and station is emerging.As for the case,the Xiamen city has reasonable station development plan originally by the logic of the time,but the prosperous urban development changes the situation.For example,the former development plan can no longer satisfy the increasing need of people,including the residents and the travelers.What is more,the station's developing mode has to be improved with the new transportation policy generated by the central government.According to the content mentioned above,for maximize the benefit of high-speed rail station to the Xiamen city,this dissertation will analyze its influence to the Xiamen's urban space on the basis of experience of other countries.The dissertation will explore the high-speed rail station's influence on the urban spatial development of Xiamen city combining qualitative analysis and quantitative research methods.Based on its interaction mechanism,the effects will be analyzed in four spatial scale:region,intercity,city and station area.The regional space relationship,the spatial location of the city and its inner spatial structure could be illustrated,the results summarized then,leading to the generation of more reasonable development strategy.The research conclusions are as follows:1)The site setting of high-speed rail station benefit to the city's location advantage increasing.And the cities will be connected more closely.2)The construction of high-speed rail station makes for the urban spatial expansion of Xiamen.3)The high-speed rail station stimulates the generation of new urban space and urban activities.
