Small Towns Water Landscape Ecological Planning And Design Study

Human beings are longing to live in a clean and beautiful environment. However, in present China with so large population, the real clean, beautiful places with fresh air, water and mountain are usually undeveloped. A good original ecosystem is the reason why these places remain beautiful. The developed area by human being often have different levels of damage to the natural beautiful and ecological environment:tall buildings, millions of trees had been cut down, big area of water field had been covered……expansion of the city is a big disaster to the lives in this land! In the land which occupied by the modern city there are only few lives left. There is no creature in the land; there is no life of land. In small towns, because of the poor elemental establishment, such issues are more prominent in the large-scale urbanizing process.City water landscape area is located in the marginal land and water, it is the most beautiful area of the city, and it is the most sensitive ecological area with the water and land-intensive natural combination and rich process Therefore, good water ecosystem is critical for urban landscape. It formats the urban landscape character, and also become an important resource for urban development. It has a very important value in improving urban environmental quality, enriching local scene and so on. The current landscape of small towns water planning and design focuses on the traditional method, lack of the analysis about the reason of the damage to the social and economic reasons from the perspective of ecology and human/nature. The introduction of a new concept of ecological planning and design is to ensure the health of aquatic ecosystems, based on the integration of water and urban ecology to promote the coordinated development of economy and ecology of the city, so that the new towns will not only meet the New Waterfront Construction requirements, but also reflect the ecological sciences, water and cultural heritage of history, shaping the people and society, setting up the harmony between human being and nature, and ultimately achieving a continuous ecological environment. The ecological planning emphasized on the overall ecological design optimization, through the study of matter cycling and energy flow, bring forward a programming counter method of rational exploitation of resources, environmental protection and ecological construction. The ultimate goal of human existence is a "Harmony", the ecological water landscape planning and design is not only limited to the "Water Landscape" and "foil by the water," but more important to induct water system, and not only need to consider rainwater and landscape, but also put the physical, chemical and biological and ecological methods into the planning and design, it reflects the material ecological and cultural ecological function due to water connection, it derivatives landscape topography, vegetation, soil, animals and so on to a multi-cultural representation of landscape elements. It stresses the natural growth aspect; make a wholly "continuous" change of the natural environment system through the water system. As An organism, urban water ecosystem can maintain and adjust the balance of system through metabolism.Urban water system is social-economic-the natural complex ecosystem, Follow the principle of water resource-saving, water resource must be recycling and conservation well. Research in this direction is trying to make the water landscape planning of small towns into harmony which can protect natural zoology and also promote the development of the urban area. This paper aimed on the small town water system common problems, as:the relationship between city water system and urban ecology; the relationship between city water system and urban landscape; the relationship between Urban Water and Urban Development. Through the above three aspect, and use the County of HeBei Great River Comprehensive Plan as a case, probe into the effect of the water landscape to the whole town from three aspects as human design, public space, urban ecosystem restoration and how to improve the waterfront environment, finally to achieve a continuous development. Although those three aspects focusing on different subject field, all of them emphasized the harmony between human being and nature. Eventually it format a complete systemically methods suitable for small town's water system of ecological planning and implementationThe essence of Eco-city is to achieve scientific coordination of the city and the perfect solution the current problems of the city, accomplish urban economic, social and environmental win-win. Water landscape areas play a very important economic, social and ecological value effect in small towns'whole ecosystem. Therefore, water ecological environment planning is an integral part in the environmental construction and development of small town.
