The vibration of rotary mechanism mainly results from the factor of unbalance. Therefore the strict dynamic balance is required on rotor and whole mechanism when they are manufactured and used for many kinds of rotary mechanism. With the development of rotary mechanism and computer technology, the technology of dynamic balance is applied wider and wider. As the main rotary parts of the internal combustion engine, the crankshaft and fly wheel group has decisive effect on the performance and operating stability of internal combustion engine.The present development and research at home and abroad for dynamic balance technology and dynamic machine was introduced in the paper firstly. On the basis of studying deeply on the theory of dynamic balance, the common influence coefficient method was introduced, and the dynamic balance of crankshaft and fly wheel group was simply explained. Then the requirement analysis and overall design have been done for the system, choosing appropriate data acquiring cards and transducers, and the belt and ring transmission has been done for the original dynamic balance machine according to the structure characteristics of crankshaft and fly wheel group, also the simple analysis and dispose has been done for the interference signals. Finally based on the LabVIEW development platform, the testing system of dynamic balance for crankshaft and fly wheel group was developed on the basis of virtual instruments. The modular design was adopted, the preprocessing, simple time domain and frequency domain analysis have been done for the signal data by means of modular structure, and adopting improvement average calculation of. time domain, the unbalanced mass and phase have been figure out, finally displayed on the system interface real-time.The experiments indicates that this dynamic balance testing system has friendly interface, operated simply and the higher balance precision, and can meet the needs of the dynamic balance for the crankshaft and fly wheel group, possessing the higher practicability value.
