Household Electrical Appliances For Low-end Users To Design Studies

The global financial crisis devastated many of household electrical appliance enterprises in China in 2007 to 2009. In the market and the national policy to the intervention, more and more enterprises begin to focus the low-end local market. Meanwhile, China's huge demand for the low-end local market becoming the key areas of appliances, and the low-end product strategy will also become the focus of China's household electrical appliance enterprises in period of future time. However, home appliances in our country had no design method. It implemented the low-end product strategy companies have serious problems in product design. Therefore, to build design methods system is the extremely urgent thing.The Low-end Users as a starting point of the article to research on low-end home appliances and product design. Trying to by low-end user research summarized characteristics of low-end users. Trying to by research on product value and the Users' opinion of products to build design methods theoretical system of low-end based on the users'product value theoretical. By analysis of low-end product design status find the methods how to promote the value of low-end products. Trying to by research the method of product design summed up the low-end home appliance product design strategies, methods and principles. Simultaneously, take refrigerator as an example to put into design practice in order to inspect the principles of the low-end products.This paper combined with the use of theoretical research and empirical research methods. In one part of theoretical research, aim at the theory of value on the low-end system for systematic organization and summary. In another part of empirical research, through in-depth interviewed the users in the form of qualitative research. Do research by the quantitative research on the low-end home appliances users in the form of questionnaire. To analyze the results combined to the research related to design theory and proposed by the low-end home appliance product design principles.This study constructed the low-end product design method theory system as the core of users'value. And proposed to the low-end appliances design strategies, methods and principles. By the research on the low-end design method of appliances which the purpose for provide some design theoretical guidance in today's low-end companies and give some reference to the low-end product design. The study pointed out the importance of practical significance in low-end users and household electrical appliance enterprises.
