During the early developing days of Implex Glutenite Reservoir ,it's hard to know the diresctions of inhomogeneity, the flow characteristics of input waters, if there a high permeability band , the affect of faulty to water injection, the improvement of producing well, residual oil saturation in pore bulge ,and so on , with just ordinary performance monitor datas. In directand intuitionistic means for confirming parameter of wells, tracer testing is one of important means. Advanced tracer testing and explaining technology is applied Wusandong Shangwuerhe Glutenite Reservoir of karamy oil field in xin jiang in 2002,Depicting underground flow characteristics by analyzing exploitation cure of tracers. And depending on emendated reservoir geologic model, sloving layers pressure distributing by numeric means to confirm flow cures distributing, and to analyse and predict the shapes of water driving, and to ensure Sor distributing by numerical simulation. For this, we import the advanced tracer testing technology. The procedure of this technology is simply, and not constricted by the depth of reservoir , the character of layer, and the character of reservoir fluid. In the procedure, general explaining means gets over limitation of early explaining. We do the test in 4 well groups of Wusandong Shangwuerhe Glutenite Reservoir, solved above-mentioned problems by and large, and all the results accord with the production practise. The flow characteristics of implex glutenite reservoir and the characters of faulties give the practice input injuction -production work a clear guide, and give the later development adjustment a reliable foundation .
