Ecological Socialism And Its Sustainable Development Of China's Socialist Enlightenment

Eco-socialism is a result of combination western socialism theories and the eco-thought, and is a characterful ethos in the environment movement. Also it is a new hotspot in national academia.With the foundation of others fruits, this paper is following the historical materialism-and-dialectical materialism, making use of the historical analysis method, comparison analysis method and theories-and- practice method, and trying to completely display the theories and its development of the Eco- socialism .And by holding the relation between Eco-socialism and sustainable development the author put forward to unique insight for sustainable development in this paper.The first part introduced the background and history of the Eco-socialism.It is born in environment movement (green movement), and has two stages of development: period of setting up the Eco-Marxist and period of convincing 'green' socialism.The second part primarily is the evaluation of Eco-socialism.At beginning of this part we expatiated the basis theories of the Eco-socialism, which mostly consists of five aspects. Then by comparing respectively Eco-socialism with Ecocommunalism, Eco-socialism with science socialism, we can find out the advancement and limitation of Eco-socialism. Above all, it is important for science socialism to endow socialism with 'green' meaning touch environment problem with socialism and soon. Lastly the part describes the foreground of the Eco-socialism.The third part is the revelatory conclusions for our sustainable development stratagem.In the end of this paper there are six revelatory conclusionsfor our sustainable development stratagem, including to establishing the Eco-consciousness, to advocating moderation consumption, to changing economy development mode, to consummating the socialism democracy, to radiating international strategy of sustainable development, to keeping human' s full development as the ultimate target of socialistic sustainable development.This paper thinks that the Eco-socialism is helpful at a certain extent. But it is still an immature theory, particularly lacking of revolutionary and maneuverability that the science socialism has. Therefore, the Eco-socialism' s significance to Chinese socialism sustainable development is indirect, and it enlighten us to realize the importance of the environmental problem, to set up the new harmonious idea of person and nature and completely the perfect socialism sustainable development system.
