The author has looked up many resources at home and abroad and studied mining technological conditions of horizontal ore pillar.Three mining technical projects were put forward:(1) new technology of recovering the left-over rich ore resources using hydraulic props;(2) technology of cementation solidifying fill on recovering horizontal ore pillar;(3)longwall pillar working with caving and roof propping with hydraulic props. The three methods were evaluated technologically and economically.The advanced mining method needs advanced equipment and technology. These projects adopted the following (1) rapid yield hydraulic props and accessories introduced into from Public of South Africa; (2) single hydraulic prop , A ripe roof support technology in coal mine ; (3) the technique of cementation solidifying used largely in other realm of engineering. According to properties of mining, the introduction and using method was provided carefully.In order to ensure safe of exploiting ore pillar, many measures were taken. Not only was smooth blasting applied to maintain stabilization of roof, but also sound emission and other monitoring methods were introduced.
