Water hydraulic technology is a new technology which is environmentally friendly, safe, economic and efficient, can be applied suitably in areas such as food, medicine, marine industry, subsea mining and some large high-risk mining department. With the increasing depletion of oil and other mineral resources and the improvement of people’s awareness of environmental protection and the development of some related sciences and technologies, the time is ripe for the popularization and application of water hydraulic technology.Firstly, based on the many advantages of the water hydraulic technology, combined with outer single hydraulic prop which is widely used in China coal mine, aiming at the specific circumstances of the three way valve of the single hydraulic prop in the work, its system is analyzed and researched, combined with water easy to leak, cavitation or other problems, discussed the impact of the new structure and new materials of three way valve performances, calculated the best valve structure parameters apply to water three way valve, built the3D model of the entire three way valve and analyzed the important parts of the model. The simulation results show that the safety factors are all greater than2, the three way valve in water single hydraulic prop can meet the strength criterion at rated working pressure.In this paper, micro-modeling structure is used in water hydraulic prop three way valve. Using the dynamic mesh technique and UDF in Fluent, detailed flow field simulations of the safety valve part with the micro-shape structure valve core were accomplished, the pressure distribution and the velocity distribution of the safety valve part were drew and analyzed the influences of different micro-modeling parameters to the flow field of the safety valve part. The simulation results show that, the safety valve part with micro-modeling structure can significantly improve low field in valve, make the negative pressure reduced by about15%, and inhibit velocity value in valve, alleviate the cavitation damage and the erosion phenomenon in the safety valve part. In addition, this paper also through the continuity equation and the valve core force balance equation of the safety valve part, built the mathematical model of the safety valve part, simulated the dynamic performances of the safety valve part with the inlet flow rates as inputs, obtained the influences of different parameters on the safety valve part dynamic performance.The research on water single hydraulic prop not only has a strong theoretical value and practical significance to the application of water media in China’s coal mine, but also has a certain referential significance to the utility of water hydraulic technology and designs on other water hydraulic components.
