The Research On Government’s Participation Of Environmental Protection Based On STS Viewing

As China’s economic development and the improvement of living standards,China’s demand for resources,more and more,come along with gradually increasing environmental problems. In particular,in recent years,the air quality has decreased significantly,water pollution and soil pollution have worsened gradually and natural disasters occur frequently. Particularly after the large scale of haze weather start to appear continuously,it has exerted a serious impact on the development of various aspects such as the economy and society of China. The deteriorating environment is closely related to the development of science and technology. On the one hand,people are enjoying convenience brought by science and technology and at the same time,science and technology are seriously damaging the environment. The traditional extensive production mode is unable to meet the development of the modern society and economy. Based on the STS perspective,the participation in environmental protection by the government is the necessary requirement of the domestic economic development,social building and economic globalization. The Chinese government has established a series of policies and regulations, from decision-making, operation, security, supervision, assessment taking relevant measures, although the existing achievements, but still there are a lot of problems, from the whole, our country government to participate in environmental protection and omissions and defective, need to further strengthen and perfect, to solve practical problems.This paper has mainly adopted the literature review method and combined the theory and practice. From the perspective of STS,This paper cleared the relationship between STS idea and environment sustainable development, environmental problems and causes in our country are summarized, analyzed the necessity of government in environmental protection, government involvement in the analysis of the existing environmental protection on the basis of the status quo, found that the existing problems, from decision-making, operation, security, supervision, assessment and other aspects put forward the countermeasures of perfecting respectively, so as to achieve a virtuous circle system of science and technology and social environment.
