Jute is the national pride, identity of Bangladesh which is named Golden Fibers. Globally jute is the second most important vegetable fiber after cotton and Jute fiber is a totally natural biodegradable, recyclable fiber and eco-friendly that very much popular worldwide because of its cost effectiveness. Bangladesh lies in a geographic area with abundant water sources and hot & humid Monsoon Climate.These factors make Bangladesh, most suitable for Jute cultivation in the world. The overall natural, climatic, and geo-graphic condition of Bangladesh is blissful for growing Jute in a natural process and the best quality. Scientists Dr Maksudul Alam and his team have successfully discovered jute genome and come back again with glorious past. Bangladesh is getting back to the golden era in recent year as demand for jute and jute made product is increasing as it is considered as bio-degradable product. Jute is a 100 percent vegetable stuff which is totally biodegradable; this property makes it an environment friendly stuff. Due to its eco friendly nature the jute is used to make various types of goods and products to substitute other contemporary goods &products which are not eco friendly in nature. Due to increasing pollution level and global warming the need of eco friendly goods & products is imperative for us, and jute products are one of the eco friendly products.The design of jute products presently widely used to create beautiful products that are part of a current fashion trend based around the green movement and an increasingly important environmental message all over the world. And with the revival of jute in various new age products only gives us hope of a golden tomorrow.The blend of Art & Culture signifies the traditional monument of Bangladesh folk art and crafts elements with generation to generation. The identity of Bangladesh is born by its culture. Virtually, folk art and culture is the driving force of Bangladeshi nationalism. Just after the war of liberation 1971 and the achievement of sovereign and independent Bangladesh the culture has got its own dignity and status.After 1971 when Bangladesh became independent a conscious effort was made to revive and promote traditional crafts. While traditional designs retained theirpopularity there was a resurgence that adapted products to suit contemporary needs.Design, art and culture and science and technology combined with the product, and art and technology, but also belong to the same broad cultural context.Culture is the historical practice of human society in the process of creating the sum of material and spiritual civilization, with irreversible inheritance. While generations of artists and designers, always try to get rid of the shadow of traditional culture,create their own artistic milestone, but still haunting traditional culture, everywhere.Therefore, we can say that any of the traditional culture, are bound to the development of art and technology, resulting in a very profound impact, and through art and technology, either directly or indirectly, related to modern design produces a huge impact.
