Packaging design is the continuation of the product’s life, and is the carrier for promoting and spreading the images of the product itself and its corporation. Taking Hunan local snack food-- "Jiu Dao Wan" snack food packaging design as the research object, by studying the market status of snack foods at home and abroad as well as the status and level of their food packaging, this paper aims at the problems existing in the snack food packaging and shortages in the characteristics of domestic snack foods, and re-analyzes the design positioning and planning of snack food packaging considering the present market status, attempting to break through the existing status of snack food packaging. Through analyzing the packaging design styles and other aspects of "Jiu Dao Wan" snacks and other snack foods in the market, it tries to reach the goal of designing very interesting snack food packaging for “playing while eating†snacks.This paper expounds the designing and creation origins and significance of this topic by analyzing the present situation and level of snack food packaging at home and abroad; it describes the development of emotional factors and their importance in this design; and it illustrates the emotionalizing experience from three levels(instinct level, behavior level and reflection level) and determines the consumer orientation of "Jiu Dao Wan" snacks by combining with its concept; at last, it makes aclear interpretation of the packaging design, from the logo, decoration and box designs, to the spotlights of interest, and to the final appearance of the overall effect.This design is a kind of snack food packaging design taking interest as its theme, showing the novelty and unique qualities of packaging design for “playing-while-eating†snacks. Its purpose is to introduce a new and fresh power into the existing snack food market, invigorating the market by this fancy packaging, and actively promoting the development of food packaging industry. |
