| With the economic development and the increasing of living standard, the expectation of life is larger than before. Thus the trend of aging is a huge challenge in the world. As an important part in our daily life, bathing space design for aging plays a significant role. Compare with developed country, the bathing system design for aging people in our country is stating at the beginning stage and it does not arouse enough attention. The current bathing system design is not well focus on the requirement aging people. This phenomenon leads to bathing system design for aging people is a blank field in our country. This paper adopts universal design concept, arms to promote safety and degree of comfort for aging people bathing to satisfy the requirement of aging people.At first, we study three aspect of bathing space includes bath auxiliary tool, armrest type auxiliary and seat type auxiliary, and then we creatively propose applying the concept of high seat handrail into bathing space. At last, we design an experiment to verify this assumption. Using the seat size which acquire from former experimental, we design a product satisfy the requirement of users with different height.Second, though interview survey and questionnaire survey, we acquire the data of activity and postural transform in the processing of aging people bathing. We summarize the potential risk in the processing of aging people bathing, and base on the summary to analysis in sequence, design in sub-blocks and assemble to an entire system.Finally, based on the theory of universal design and statistics, we analysis bathing space, shower and bathing specified seat. We establish the relation model of bathing space, shower and specified seat and propose three schemes include bathing space scheme, shower scheme and specified seat scheme, and then we integrate three schemes into an entire system. At last, we realized our conception with 3-D model and achieved the expected goals. |
