Kiwi Product Quality And Safety Traceability System Based On RFID Technology

As the food safety problem becomes a general social problem nowadays, it is necessary to build the kiwi fruit industry chain security traceability system in order to assure the food safety in China and achieve consumers’ trust.According to the kiwi planting, storage, processing of the actual situation of the national standard and enterprise, every aspect of the process is designed, and the technical points are determined. It’s a convenient way to determine the data, which need to be recorded to ensure comprehensive traceability information. The whole kiwi industry chain safety traceability system is based on the kiwi planting information, storage information, processing sectors information, and uses RFID tags, bar codes and two-dimensional code label to identify the whole industry chain of Kiwi production, which make the system complete.The system also uses B/S framework, JAVAEE, eclipse code writing, and finally applies to Tomcat. All data are stored in My SQL to build the system. The traceability system database includes system, orchard, storing and processing management. On the one hand, the system is easy to type-in and modify. On the other hand, the system is convenient to search result by scanning the tracing code or two-dimensional code for consumers. RFID technology and two-dimensional code labels were combined and achieved automation when Kiwi fruit enter and exit, which results in promotion of work efficiency and reduction of recording errors.By exploiting the system, the safety traceability of the whole industrial chain of Kiwi fruit was realized. The credibility of Kiwi fruit product quality and safety is increased by tracing the source when problems appeared.
