Forestland damaged by the production and construction projects has led to the loss of forest ecological benefits, increasing the destruction of the environment from the production and construction projects. In order to establish a set of evaluation scheme which was suitable for forestland damaged by the production and construction projects,at the same time, which can accurately reflect the ecological benefit and ecological value of and damaged forestland. Also, the scheme could provide reference and support for the decision and Ecological compensation of the production and construction projects. In this study, the basic data of destroying forestland was obtained from the water and soil conservation scheme of the production and construction projects through putting in and extracting. According to forest inventory data and the related research results, the destroying forestland ecological benefit evaluation system of production and construction projects was established. At the same time, through referring to the domestic and foreign mature ecological benefit evaluation method and model, five ecological benefit of destroying forestlands was quantitatively evaluated at the national scales of eight evaluation area. The evaluation results show that:(1)The national total ecological benefits value of forestlands destroyed by the production and construction projects in 2009-2013 is ¥46,849,300,000,the destroyed forestland ecological benefit value in Per unit area has reached ¥48,315 hm-2·a-1; (2) The total ecological benefit value of forestlands destroyed by the production and construction projects in eight evaluation area in 2013 ranking from high to low was:red soil region of southern China (¥15,829,810,000)>karst areas of Southwest China (¥13,856,390,000)>the black soil region of Northeast China (¥5,341,540,000)>the mountain (¥5,105,160,000)>Southwest in purple soil area (¥3,567,280,000)> northwest loess plateau (¥1,859,230,000) >the northern sandy area (¥769,910,000 yuan) >the Qinghai Tibet Plateau (¥331,650,000);(3)The five ecological function total value of the forestlands destroyed by the production and construction projects ranked in descending order:water conservation(¥26,001,900,000)>carbon fixation>oxygen release(¥8,172,400,000)>soil conservation(¥7,435,900,000)>air purification(¥3,661,200,000)>the accumulation of nutrients (¥1,577,900,000).
