For the rich resource of beach placer in Indonesia, Paragon is a mining ship which is designed by Zhoushan Haichuan Ship Machinery Co. Ltd. for Indonesianmineral company as a self-propelled cutter suction mining ship.Manufacturing design is mainly applied to the mining of shallow water, mining, mineral processing and other integrated facilities equipped with equipment design requirements, but producing mineral without other equipment can. For the type of coastal sands,it is significant to improve the separation efficiency with the ore beneficiation equipmentis designed for the prototype of jigger.However, jigging bed thickness testing and mainly working parameters of machine regulation depends on the experience of the staff of this kind of separation equipment, but without more objective judgment method. In the background of progressing in automatic control and detection methods, in order to meet the demands of development of advanced Productivity, it is necessary to design a set of ship intelligent processing system to improve the degree of automation and the efficiency of separation.The article firstly introduces the parameter saffecting relateing its performance and sets the parameters according to the design requirements. Then select the bed state as the controlling quantity, design related detection method to stable state of bed and improve separation efficiency in the process of sorting equipment. Secondly, introduce the main parts of mineral processing equipment with a brief description of the composition of its working principle and structure surrounding the roughing equipment, complete the three-dimensional modeling, and to support the analysis of the static force from the guarantee of its reliability.In order realize the function needed, select the type of PLC, inverter and touch screen for the system, write the PLC program language according to the control circuit of hardware and processing system designed. Finally, put the simulation module of Simulink language program into the MATLAB, result shows that the system has function to maintain the state of bed which can greatly improve the separation efficiency.
