The Research On Chinese-foreign Economic Cooperation In Clean Development Mechanism

In order to alleviate the huge negative influence which the global climate warming brings. "Kyoto Protocol" had determined three kind of nimble mechanisms to solve the environment problem effectively with the economic means, including Clean development mechanism,Joint Implementation and Emission Trade. These three means provide a much cheaper way to achieve the emission reduction goal. Clean development mechanism (CDM) provides the opportunities of developing environment cooperation for the developed countries and the developing countries and promoting economic cooperation for various countries to deal with the global climate warming together.This article is researching on China carrying out a broader international economic cooperation with the turning point of CDM. And it also discusses that how China participates the international economic cooperation under the new situation of Post-Protocol. Main achievements include:First, CDM is an efficient way to reduce the emission of greenhouse gas. After analyzing CDM's background. CDM's theories and the domestic and foreign CDM development tendency, this paper makes the reader realize that CDM project not only can cause the developed countries to complete the reduction responsibility by low cost, but also can cause the developing countries to obtain the economic interest and urge our country sustainable development, including environmental enhancement, improvement energy structure as well as promotion technological development and so on.Second, as a new mode of international economic cooperation, CDM can bring developing country a large number of capitals, technology transfer. It even can also develop international advisory service trade and promote the competition ability of firms. However, it also has problems in this process. Using unilateral financing way is very difficult to lead the advanced technical transfer. And introducing the overseas advanced environmental equipment blocks China to research our own environment technology. Third, from number and estimate emission reduction of the registration and signing CDM project, we know that China is the most important CDM market in the world, and China has the superiority and the potential in the field of emission reduction. By anglicizing CDM case, it shows US the real profit condition.Forth, the level in the project of CDM in China is respectively simply, and may China adopt the PCDM way. Kyoto times China is undertaking more pressure of having international reduction responsibility. But while China is implementing domestic reduction plan positively, we should not undertake international reduction responsibility so early.
