This thesis mainly researches the development of international emission trade on theory and discusses its problem and trend. Also this thesis focuses on China emission trade, especially on its advantages and disadvantages, and analyses its status quo and trend.First, the author presents the status quo of GHG emission in the world and the weightily international pacts United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and Kyoto Protocol. These international pacts play a pivotal role on buffering the trend of global warming and take flexible mechanism to create a new product right of GHG emission and a new pattern of international trade. At the same time, this thesis refers to policies and treasures taken by developed countries and China to control GHG emission, and introduces China emission trade. Finally, the author provides plans and suggestions to promote the development of international emission trade in a healthy way.
