For recent years, under the circumstances of deep going curriculum reform on college physics experiment, cultivate students with innovative consciousness and innovative qualities, promote the teaching reform of physics experiment is a question, which is worth being studied.Under research of actuality, which experiment teaching of college physics in china and foreign country. The paper mainly investigates general physics experiment of Yang Zhou University, then analyses and ponders problems under current teaching model, and put forward the corresponding strategies to contribute to teaching general experiments.Through the investigation of physics 2005 classes of Yang Zhou University, we find existing problems on current situation of general physics teaching, some instances as following mainly:1. After training by basic experiment and comprehensive experiment, students can use equipments skillful, but still have difficulties in choosing right equipments, don't know how to choose times should measure; 2.be accustomed to observe and analyze phenomena in the experiments, but don't explore ideas in it; 3.know how to deal with data derived from experiments, but have no competence to solve problems practicality. It may influence students'progresses in the moment of designed experiment.Researching into the cause by interviewing teachers and analyzing experiment teaching, author finds the reason which causes current situation is an incomplete teaching model of general physics experiment, there is a gap between basic experiment and designed experiment.Embarked from the pedagogy principle, psychology principle and characteristic of experiment teaching, the author conceives an idea about the teaching reform, we can decompose elements of designed experiment, and then trained in the moment of basic experiment and comprehensive experiment. First, teaching reformation content: we choose some experiments, which are simple or students know it before, retained the block of"experimental goal","experimental principle"and"instrument", and corrected"laboratory procedure", required students to complement it independently; built"thinking", which could lead students to realize the thoughtway about experiment. In the designed experiment, we give"experiment goal"and"experiment request"briefly, require students refer information and design project after class.We add project physics experiment after designed experiment, which can offer the students and an environment of self-inquiry.Second, teaching reformation method: we take basic experiments'teaching into two parts. In preview class, students should apprehend experimental principle, solve problems for preview, design laboratory procedure and datasheet; then in operating class, students accomplish the experiment under teacher's guidance. In the phase of designed experiment, students should refer information before class; in preview class, students may discuss schemes they designed, fix on the optimal one; before operating class, they should finish designing laboratory procedure and datasheet, etc.In the phase of project physics experiment, teacher organizes many activities for communion, enlighten students to think.Third, teaching reformation evaluation: grades to experiments have two parts, operating grades and final exam. After basic experiment, we take the exam about theory; after comprehensive experiment, we take the exam about operation. We take grades about project experiment for the phase of designed experiment, it includes operating grades, grades for paper and grades for reply. This mode can judge students impartiality and roundly.I choose the physics 2006 classes to carry on the education practice, testing results and poll have demonstrated the new teaching method is feasible. This paper also has some problems to revamp, but I still hope that these can offer experience for high normal colleges and schools.
