Geographic Information System Based On The Gis Component Of The Community To Establish

With Geographic Information System(GIS) being widely used in different area, it's decision-supporting is becoming more and more important. And the technique of developing application of GIS has become more variety with the development of the software technique. Component technique is the new tide of software development and it is more advanced in developing application of GIS than traditional ways.Firstly this paper introduced what is GIS and it's character, application and the trend of GIS's development. Then the traditional models of developing GIS was studied and problems in these models were found. The component technique is the way to solve these problems. This paper discussed the conception of component technique and it's characters and establishing a application of GIS on basis of GIS's components was also discussed in details.In the end of this paper, a community information management system has been established with the GIS component, MapObjects.
