Jinan City, The Southern Mountainous Landscape Security Pattern

The groundwater plays a role in holding the balance in national economic developmentand resident's life in Jinan City, and the 72 famous springs represented mainly by "four majorsprings "form the old-line spring culture. The southern mountain region supplementsgroundwater to the springs of Jinan City, and its unique geological structure offerspredominant natural conditions for forming springs and the circulation of the groundwater ofJinan City. The region plays an irreplaceable roles in supplementing land groundwater to thesprings, improving the environmental quality of the whole city and protecting the security ofdrinking-water in the urban. The natural ecological conditions of the region is relatively goodand relatively weak. To think of its backward situation currently in economy and its importantecological functions, it's very important not to hinder heavily local economic developmentwhen protecting and resuming the regional ecological functions. The thesis applies thesecurity patterns to optimize the landscape pattern of the region and try less cost controlnatural course and human activities, protect and resume the ecological functions to thegreatest degree by looking for the important security components or strategic points. Themain research contents of the thesis are as follows:(1) According to its ecological functions among the area, the main ecological function ismaintainability of water source, and the auxiliary ecological functions are drinking-watersource of surface water, protection of geological structure, water and soil conservation,protection of animals and plants and the function of proper inhabiting and tour. Because ofhuman interference and natural conditions, the region have ecological problems as followsserious soil erosion, the barren land, vast naked rock, lower coverage rate and qualityof forest,lower resumption rate of miningfield, and water quality declining.(2)According to the ecological functions and problems mentioned above, the thesisbuilds the studyobject: to set up the securitypattern of the region,and to protect and resumethe ecological functions to the greatest degree by looking for the important securitycomponents or strategic points.(3)Build the security pattern model of the region.
