| For about half a century, chaos phenomenon and its theory has been promoting the development of non-linear science. Nowadays, researches on chaos theory and its application have become the focus in the field.Chaos is an inner stochastic motion happening in fixed non-linear dynamics system. Theories, numerical values and experiments indicates that chaos motion exists in all the fields of natural science (even in sociology), which means that chaos motions is a motions of matter in nature and exists extensively in many non-linear systems. However, the fact that stochastic motion exists in a fixed system goes against the traditional physical theory of deterministic. Therefore, chaos will change the traditional view of deterministic in the world of matter, then we will come to realize that a chance appears in a decisive system..Take college physics teaching as example, in recent years, non-linear chaos phenomenon has been included in many textbooks and taken as the focus of content reform. It is of great meaning and importance to lot the college students understand chaos and its characteristics.Chaos theory is the development of traditional non-linear dynamic theory, it involves some profound mathematics knowledge, and at present, computer numerical value calculation is the only way of solving non-linear problems. It is well-accepted to understand this kind of problems by the way of audio-visual geometric figure. Based on the above facts and careful researches, this thesis paper discusses the basic non-linear dynamics and the fundamental chaos phenomenon.
