| The birth of chaos is the same with the generations of theory of relativity and quantum mechanics which breaks through the canons of Newtonian mechanics and has a far-reaching influence on the modern science and philosophy. Hsue-Shen Tsien, as a master of science, gave attention to such a scientific revolution which is inevitable. Some of his insights have greatly influenced the chaos in the research of our country. On the basis of the study of relevant literatures, this paper has carried on the comprehensive research and analysis of Hsue-Shen Tsien discourse on chaos theory.The main work is as follows:1. This paper introduces the process of understanding of chaotic phenomena in the history and the birth of the chaos in the twentieth century, which sums up the basic characteristics of the chaos phenomena as the initial value of the sensitive dependence, intrinsic randomness and Singularity.2. This paper has carried on the investigation and analysis of the early science background of Hsue-Shen Tsien and finds out his later clues of attention to the chaos theory that Hsue-Shen Tsien’s mechanical background, especially his youth to the attention of turbulence, the study of engineering control and subsequent scientific management ability, is one of the important factors that he interested in chaos.3. Hsue-Shen Tsien is unique in the study of chaos who has the irreplaceable influence on the mechanical experts in china and the research of chaos.This paper systematically examines Hsue-Shen Tsien’s letters and reports and finds out the chaos of several core ideas which were discussed by Hsue-Shen Tsien that chaos is generated by the uncertainty of certainty,Chaos and order is the dialectical unification and chaos is regarded as an indecisive decisive in the third chapter.4. Hsue-Shen Tsien advocated that we research chaos in the complexity science.This paper collates and expounds related content in the fourth chapter. |
