Geodetic Data Sharing And System Integration Technology

Modern information technique has taken new challenges to geodetic surveying. Network technique which has already walked into thousands of homes makes it possible to share data. During the construction of geodetic data sharing platform, many kinds of new techniques will be used, such as network technique, database technique and integration technique. After the studying of how to build a data sharing environment, this paper puts stress on studying and practicing the technique of data integration. The main contents are as follows:1. Integration technique on collecting geodetic data which have more sources and formats. Data building together is an important precondition of data sharing. In this paper, using technique of data modeling, object models of geodetic network are designed. Further, an universal format on data collection is worked out. With different formats and styles, handed in by different data producers, data can be integrated.2. Integration technique on geodetic data service with mulity requirement. Data exchange is the main way for data service. After analysed some data exchange formats, a new format for geodetic data exchange base on Geographic Markup Language is given. User may put his various imfornation into a data sheet, which could be operated for his demand.3-. Integration technique on data application. System integration means combine the functions of other systems to use in the new system. This paper focuses on how to share the geodetic data of Component Geographic Information System. A new method for geodetic data application has been given.4. Practises of data integration and application. In this chapter, an unitive data format for geodetic control network data collection is designed. At the same time, an integrated methed with products of MapInfo is introduced. This has been practiced available in data applications.
