On the one hand, the service of the Geodetic Survey Information System faces to application directly nowadays, and therefore it's hard to be maintained when the users' demands change. At the same time, it can't meet the demands of individuation services. On the other hand, the geodetic databases built by different units in different period can't access each other and don't have a spare. In this way, there'll be great waste of data resource. In order to improve the information services and accomplish the heterogeneous information integration, the solution of the XML-based middleware were presented in this thesis, by which can build the geodetic survey information interface and achieve the goals of data input, data exchange and heterogeneous information integration. The main content is as follows:(1) A XML-based middleware is presented to solve the problem of geodetic survey information's data services and heterogeneous information integration.(2) A bidirectional conversion model between geodetic database and XML is constructed, which provides the main function of the solution.(3) Two kinds of data interface are fulfilled. One is between the observation data or adjustment data and geodetic database, facing the course of geodetic survey, and the other is the one from which can acquire various information about control point, facing the conventional users. The two kinds regard respectively as input interface and output interface of the geodetic survey information.(4) The integration of heterogeneous geodetic databases is achieved based XML and the relevant technologies.(5) An application is put in practice on base of the standard interface, which shows the individuation services by creating report dynamically using XSLT with the demands of users.This thesis constructs the geodetic survey information interface, and accomplishes the heterogeneous information integration. It can satisfy the demands of individuation, and improves the geodetic survey information services' pattern.
