Studay On The Application Of XML In Geodetic Data Sharing Enviroment

Geodetic data sharing environment is the technical environment of sharing position information and geodetic control networks in geodetic products , applications and services。 With the development of national spatial data infrastructure, geodetic information will be a kind of common resource, and geodetic data sharing will become more and more important。 Being a new technology, XML shows strong life force in the application of geodetic data sharing environment 。 This article is about three aspects in data modeling , metadata describing and data interface:1. geodetic data modeling based on XML SchemaStudy the traditional methods of geodetic sharing data modeling, compare among ER model , UML model and XML model, then get the superiority of XML.2. geodetic metadata sharing based on RDFDiscuss the status and common methods of geodetic metadata describing, and compare three kinds of types :txt type, sgml type and xml types, then get the superiority of xml type.2. xml used in geodetic data interfaceStudy on the problems of geodetic data interface, and do some research in digital results format , producer united format and data exchange format, then get the usability and superiority of XMLMake DTD for control point in digital shape and create XML document to testify the superiority of XML document in digital results.Analyze the superiority between NGS AIRPORT Standard Transfer Data and the data in XML shape.Make DTD accord with CNSDTF,through the XML document testify the usability of xml in data transfer.From a series of comparing research, this article draw a conclusion that XML has a broad foreground in geodetic data sharing, at the same time, this article provides a new method to describe and exchange geodetic data, and then exploits new area of the application of xml.
