It is the large development of the GIS technology that makes GIS to be usedwidely and deeply in every walk of life. And itS development has come into the period ofbeing widespread,and to different extent it is aPplied in a mass of practical fields.Based itself upon that there is no deve1opment about GIS in the National-Projectfie1d,and the insistent demands of the consumer, this article mainly discusses thetheoretic foundation,the exPloitative Principle, methods, course,and the basal theoryof database technique about GIS.
