3s Technology-based Land Development And Consolidation Planning

Land development and consolidation is a part of land using, it can make full use of land, raise land productivity, make the condition of production and life, make ecological environment be better. It is one way of making the quantity of cultivated land be not change and realizing the sustainable development of society and economy. Efficiency of planning and designing of the land development and consolidation is raised by 3S (GPS, GIS, RS). It will be informational, automatic and netted.The article is a study of the planning of land development and consolidation with the 3S technology. It simply introduced the 3S and the land development and consolidation, then detail the process of the land development and consolidation. With the platform of TGO, ERDAS and MapGIS, receiving data from satellites with GPS receiver in style of static survey for giving control point to Spot5 images, explaining and classifying the images with ERDAS, managing the database with MapGIS. The database is the base to land development and consolidation. We can update the data for changed land with GPS-RTK. If we have the newest land data, we can do the planning of land development and consolidation for the City of YingDe with the spatial analysis function of GIS.At last, we found 3S is very important in the process of the planning of land development and consolidation for the City of YingDe. We can raise the efficacy and shorten the period, if we collected, handled, managed and analyzed the land data with 3S.
